Master Tyler D. Badali
WTKDF blackbelt 3rd dan
With 25+ years in martial arts, Master Tyler brings a deep understanding of combat disciplines, including a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo, black belts in Muay Thai and Hapkido (first-degree), and a professional kickboxing background. He is a third-generation Bruce Lee student via the late Dion Ricardo. He has spent the last decade coaching all levels—from beginners to professional fighters.
Master Tyler blends disciplines to build fighters who stay calm, adapt fast, and perform under pressure. Known for his detail-driven MMA coaching style, he works with youth (7+) and adults, guiding each student through structured, personalized progression based on their level and goals.
Starting at age 7, he knew he had to learn to protect his family, as well as others and himself. His little brother Mitchell was born with Down Syndrome. And growing up in Chicago, they were no strangers to danger. That's also when he discovered his passion for martial arts. Now, it has become a lifelong pursuit—driven by a constant desire to learn, refine, and evolve. For him, martial arts aren’t optional—it’s essential. A foundation for discipline, awareness, and personal development that extends far beyond the dojo.
Today, that philosophy is brought into every session at CAGE KOMBAT.
