Cage Kombat is a private MMA and martial arts dojo serving Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, and the surrounding East Valley of Arizona. We provide personalized martial arts coaching for beginners, experienced athletes, families, and aspiring fighters. Training combines multiple combat disciplines with MMA fundamentals, striking, grappling, conditioning, self-defense, and fight IQ.

What types of martial arts and combat training do you offer?

Cage Kombat offers Mixed Martial arts.

Do I need martial arts experience to train at Cage Kombat?

No. Cage Kombat welcomes complete beginners. Training is adjusted to your experience level, goals, fitness level, and comfort level. You do not need previous MMA or martial arts experience to get started.

Do I need to be in shape before starting martial arts training?

No. You don’t need to get in shape before starting MMA or martial arts training. Training is one of the ways you get in shape. We adjust conditioning and intensity to your current fitness level and help you build strength, endurance, coordination, and confidence.

What should I wear to my first class?

Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. Shorts, athletic pants, a T-shirt, or a fitted athletic top are appropriate. You don’t need martial arts gear, we have everything you need

Do I need to bring my own gloves, wraps, or protective equipment?

Not necessarily. Depending on the session, Cage Kombat can provide guidance on the equipment you’ll need. If you already own boxing or MMA gloves, hand wraps, shin guards, or other protective equipment, you’re welcome to bring them.

Can I try a class before I commit?

Yes. We encourage new students to experience Cage Kombat before deciding whether it’s the right fit. Book your first session and we’ll help determine which training option best matches your goals and experience. If you need more time to decide, sign up for out $40 introductory week after your first free session.

How do I book my first session at Cage Kombat?

The easiest way is to contact Cage Kombat through our website form or email and tell us a little about yourself, your experience level, and what you’re looking to accomplish. We’ll help you choose the appropriate first session and get you scheduled.

Are walk-ins allowed, or do I need an appointment?

Because Cage Kombat operates as a private martial arts dojo, training is scheduled rather than based on traditional walk-in gym access. Appointments are recommended so your coach can prepare the appropriate training session for you.

Can I book private training as a beginner?

Yes. Private MMA and martial arts coaching is available for beginners, including people with no previous martial arts experience. One-on-one coaching allows your instructor to build training around your current ability and goals.

Do you offer one-on-one self-defense coaching?

Yes. Cage Kombat offers signature classes for self-defense and personal martial arts coaching focused on practical skills, awareness, movement, striking, defensive techniques, and applying martial arts principles to real-world situations.

Can two people train together in a private or semi-private session?

Yes. Private and semi-private training can be a great option for couples, friends, family members, or training partners who want personalized coaching while working together.

How long are private coaching sessions?

How often should I train with a private coach?

For many people, two to three training sessions per week provides a good balance between skill development, conditioning, recovery, and consistency. Your ideal schedule depends on your goals, experience, availability, and overall training plan.

Do you offer private coaching for busy adults with flexible schedules?

What happens during a private coaching session?

Your session is built around your goals and experience. Training may include a movement-based warm-up, technical instruction, striking or grappling drills, pads or bag work, MMA combinations, conditioning, defensive work, and technique review. Your coach provides individual corrections and adjustments throughout the session.

Who is private coaching best for?

Private coaching is ideal for beginners who want individual attention, experienced martial artists who want to sharpen specific skills, athletes preparing for competition, busy adults who need flexible scheduling, and anyone who prefers a more private training environment.

Safety & Training

Is Cage Kombat safe for beginners?

Yes. Beginners are welcome at Cage Kombat. Training intensity is adjusted to your experience, fitness level, goals, and comfort. We emphasize proper technique and controlled progression before increasing training intensity.

Will I get hurt during martial arts training?

Martial arts involve physical activity and, depending on the training, some level of contact. However, training does not mean you need to participate in hard sparring or high-intensity contact immediately. Cage Kombat emphasizes proper technique, controlled progression, appropriate protective equipment, and responsible training intensity.

How do you keep private coaching and classes safe?

Safety starts with proper instruction and controlled progression. Coaches teach technique before increasing intensity, establish appropriate training expectations, use protective equipment when required, and adjust drills based on each student’s experience and ability.

Can I train if I have an injury, limitation, or past medical condition?

It depends on the situation. Let your coach know about any current limitations before training. Cage Kombat can often modify exercises and training intensity, but you should consult your healthcare professional before participating in physical activity if you have a medical concern or injury that could affect your ability to train safely.

Is sparring required?

No. Sparring is not required for everyone. Students can develop martial arts skills, fitness, technique, and self-defense abilities without participating in hard sparring. Sparring is introduced progressively for students who want it and are appropriately prepared.

Do I have to fight, compete, or make contact with other people?

No. You don’t have to become a fighter to train at Cage Kombat. Students can train for fitness, confidence, self-defense, skill development, personal growth, or recreation. Competition and fight preparation are available for students who specifically want that path.

What safety gear is required?

Required equipment depends on the type of training. Depending on the class or private session, equipment may include boxing or MMA gloves, hand wraps, shin guards, mouth protection, headgear, and other protective equipment. Your coach will let you know what equipment is appropriate for your training.

How do you match training intensity to my experience and fitness level?

We start where you are. Beginners aren’t expected to train like experienced fighters. Your coach adjusts the pace, complexity, conditioning, contact level, and technical difficulty based on your experience, fitness, goals, and comfort.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking in advance, particularly for private coaching. Private sessions are based on coach availability, so scheduling ahead gives you the best chance of getting the day and time you prefer.

What are your prices for private coaching and signature classes?

Cage Kombat offers several training options, including private coaching memberships, signature classes, and custom service options. Current pricing is available on our pricing and membership page and varies depending on the program, session type, and training frequency.

Do you offer session packages or memberships?

Yes. Cage Kombat offers flexible ways to train, including pay-per-session and monthly membership options. Memberships are designed for students who want consistent training and full access to the Cage Kombat experience. Signiture classes are also available, they are included for All-Access members and Start at $25 for non-members.

Is there a contract or enrollment fee?

We have no enrollment or start up fees.

Do you offer family, couples, or small-group rates?

Yes. Cage Kombat offers options for families and small groups who want to train together. Family and small-group training can provide a personalized experience while making martial arts training accessible for multiple members of the same household.

Scheduling & Policies

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

We do not have any cancelation policies, but because private coaching appointments reserve dedicated coach time, advance notice is appreciated when you need to cancel or reschedule. there are not cancelation fees for canceling a membership.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cage Kombat accepts standard electronic payment methods available through our booking and membership system. Payment options and requirements are presented during registration or checkout.

What is your weather, holiday, or closure policy?

Cage Kombat may adjust its schedule for holidays, severe weather, facility needs, or other circumstances that affect safe operations.
